- No. Participants join on their own phones, tablets or computers by QR code or meeting ID, with no app and no account. On some company or school networks, IT may need to let the X1 Meeting servers through the firewall.
- How many people can join?
- Up to 10 hubs as speaking points and 50 phones, tablets or computers as listeners: 60 participants, in up to 5 languages at once.
- Does it work without internet?
- Offline translation covers 13 language pairs: Chinese and English with each other, and each with Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish and Russian. Creating a meeting room needs the internet.
- Is there a subscription?
- No. Timekettle states the hub is paid for once, with free updates.
